School Uniform

Uniform plays a key role in creating an inclusive community, providing a school identity and demonstrating equality amongst students. London East Academy (LEA) expects a high standard of personal appearance from all its students. The presentation of self to the highest standard is a key professional skill that employers demand. Variations on the uniform are not allowed. 

Uniform Requirements

1. Black School Blazer with badge (must be purchased from our suppliers). REQUIRED
2. Navy School Jumpers. OPTIONAL
3. Black trousers (can be purchased from our suppliers or from another retailer). REQUIRED  (Tight fitting, denim, leggings, jeggings, or trousers that show the ankle are not acceptable. Trousers  must have a front button and fly zip and not worn below the hips.)       

1. White shirts (can be purchased from our suppliers or from another retailer). REQUIRED
2. Black, white, or grey plain socks - without any adornments

PE Requirements

• Navy blue T-Shirt
• Black/Navy Tracksuits
• Black/White Socks
• Full Black trainers

Trimming/Shaving any part of the head below a blade 2, including tramlines or other shaped shaving, it is not accepted, nor is the use of gel/mousse to create unusual styles. Trimmings must be blended and not 'step' style or undercut.
