HOW TO APPLY
Thank you for your interest in applying to London East Academy.
Parents can submit their child’s application using any of the following methods:
Online Application
Complete and submit the online application form available below.
In Person
Hand in the completed application directly to the school reception during school hours.
During School Holidays
Leave the application at the East London Mosque reception desk.
By Email
Send the completed application form along with all required supporting documents to:
admissions@elmschools.co.uk
Please ensure that your application form is fully completed and that all relevant documents are attached to avoid any delays in processing.
Our Admissions Officer will contact you in due course regarding the status of your child’s application.

Admissions Procedure
Application Submission
Parents/Guardians must complete the School Application Form and submit it with a photocopy of the student’s birth certificate or passport. Only fully completed applications will proceed to the next stage.
Entry Test (CAT4)
Applicants may be invited to take the CAT4 entry test.

The CAT4 assessment is normally held at the end of October for entry in the following academic year.

For applicants seeking an immediate start within the same academic year, special arrangements will be made for the CAT4.

Applicants who score below average may not be shortlisted.
Shortlisting & Interview
Shortlisted applicants and their parents/guardians will be invited to attend an interview with a member of the admissions panel. The interview will consider:

Whether the family shares the school’s vision.

The commitment of parents/guardians to be active partners with the school.
-
The student’s Qur’an reading ability and memorisation (or commitment to memorisation).
-
Attendance of 95% or above and exemplary behaviour.
-
School reports showing age-expected progress in core subjects.
-
The parent/guardian’s ability to meet fee commitments for the duration of the student’s study.
-
Whether the student has a sibling at London East Academy or Al-Mizan School.
Offer of a Place
Places are offered based on a point-scoring system that considers all entry criteria.
Applicants who are not offered a place will be placed on a waiting list.
All offers are conditional and subject to meeting the school’s requirements.
Accepting the Offer
Parents/Guardians are given ten working days to accept the offer. Acceptance must include:

Payment of at least one term’s fees.

Payment of the admissions fee.

Signing the Fees Contract and the Home/School Agreement.
If acceptance is not received within ten working days, the place may be offered to another applicant on the waiting list.
Acceptance of a place confirms agreement to all school policies, rules, and regulations.
Final Registration
Once payment and all required documents have been received, the student’s details will be entered into the school’s database (Bromcom).
Admission is complete only after all documentation and payments have been processed.
